Being able to set precious Gemstones is an essential part of making jewellery!

This workshop is designed for advanced students.

We will cover:  

Different types of Rub-Over settings             

Various Claw settings                 

"Hammer Setting" techniques for smaller Diamonds               

Only one Workshop in 2010 ..!                      Date: 27th of May + 4th of June 2010

Materials required:

About 200 grams of Silver..you'll need to have prepared a couple of Ring shanks so we can make the settings to go with the Rings. The settings can also be used for pendants...For the settings we need Silver sheet 0,5mm   0,8mm and   1,0mm    1,2 mm. 

1 x Cabochon stone, round

1 x Cabochon freeform

1 x Cabochon square cut

1 x 7,0 mm facetted Stone

1 x 12 mm facetted Stone

4 x 1,5 mm Diamonds, round brillant cut
