The New Jewellery Workshop has been well received in 2012.

We have already done a number of Jewellery Courses and settled into the New working environment.

Next Courses and Weekend Workshops are commencing in March.

-------------------------------

The workshop will receive an upgrade with New Tools and Machinery being set up.

-----------------------------

If you are a former student and you want to come and work on your own projects, you can now rent a workbench on a Friday and enjoy being in a group of like minded people.

-------------------------

2 weeks ago Jewellery School was filmed by Channel 7 TV,  'Queensland Weekender'.

The film crew stayed for more than 2 hours and produced a feature that will be broadcast in a few weeks time.

Victoria, the presenter participated in a Course and managed to make her own Ring.

I hope to be able to put up a Video soon...

------------------------------

The Deception Bay Lapidary Club invited me to do an Enamelling Course.

The Bowen Lapidary Club wants to run a Casting and also an Enamelling Workshop.

Buderim Craft Cottages have me running a Friday morning Mini-Course every first Friday of the month.

-----------------------------------

Learning new jewellery skills is great fun!

Have you ever worked with Dichroic Glass?

In March we will run a New Dichroic Glass Course.

Check out the website for the next Course Dates.

So much for now

I will post another Blog Entry in a little while....

Posted by Jewellery School on December 14, 2011 at 9:45 PM Comments comments (0)

As this year comes to a close, we have now set the Course Dates, Course Topics and the Venues for the New Year 2012. You will find all information on the relevant pages of this website.

Jewellery School has been growing over the past few years and now offers more Courses and a second Instructor for Dichroic Glass making.

The expansion made it neccessary to move to New Premises on the Sunshine Coast.

We still do specific, individual 1-on-1 Tuition and Group Tuition for the Gem Club on demand at the Buderim facility, but run all our regular Courses and Workshops at the new Peregian Beach Location.

We look forward to a busy New Year and helping all our students to learn & improve on their new Jewellery -making Skills!

We will close for holidays from the 22nd of December until 15.th of January 2012.

You can send us emails during that time, but have to wait for a response until mid of January.

New Courses 2012 will start End of January with a Weekend Workshop and beginning of February with two 4 week Courses.

Enrol soon to secure your space!

So much for now

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and a good year of Jewellery-Making !

There are about 20 seconds, on us at the Buderim Gem Club on this Video

The next 5 week courses will start mid of July, so preparations are well on the way.

Just finished a 2 day weekend course at the Buderim Craft Cottages...Advanced Wax Carving.

The resulting castings are now done and ready to be delivered on Friday ...

Hmmm ...always good to see the various end-results! Some great designs!

Yesterday I had a couple book me for a full week of intense training, general Silversmithing.

They are from Interstate and I do hope they will enjoy their stay at the Sunshine Coast.

On the 23rd of July I will go to do a full day's Forging Course at Bribie Island...

Looking forward to that as I have done a number of courses with that Club and know most of the people in their Silversmithing Group...will be nice to catch up!

So, looks like another busy month for me.

Until soon

Yours
